Finally, Haithabu!

In 2022, we finally returned to Haithabu! After the long months of lockdown, it was such a joy to experience an event of this scale again, and to reunite with our community of passionate reenactors.

We were there with Les Cerfs, settled in our camp by the water, ready to share, learn, and fully embrace this timeless moment. Hearing the gentle sound of the waves against the shore, the wind in the tents, and the voices around the fires… all those little things we had missed so much!

Between craft demonstrations, passionate talks, and warm evenings by the fire, this edition held a very special energy. And of course, I made the most of every moment to capture these memories through my lens.
